The Lost Foxfire
The Lost Foxfire (迷い狐火)pushes traditional gaming boundaries and challenges the player to engage their sense of vision, audition, olfaction, somatosensation and thermoception to successfully complete the Mixed Reality (MR) game. Based on events in the game, the paired configurable multi-sensory suit synchronises and delivers in real-time – directional heat, wind and aroma to the player as cues to find and subsequently stop the Foxfire from accidentally burning down a house. Embedded deep into the gameplay mechanic, these sensory cues also create a more immersive environment for the players!
